Bryan Revill of the Arlington Sounders was injured in today's game against Kennedy and had to be helped off the field by the trainers. The initial diagnosis is a tender shoulder and he is expected to be out for up to 1-2 weeks. It happened while Revill was throwing a pitch. "It hurt a lot, to be honest. I just hope it heals soon and I can get back on the field."
So far this year Revill has made 20 starts, tossed 127.2 innings, struck out 107 batters and walked 22. His record is 8-6 with a 3.38 ERA and he has limited opposing teams to a .240 batting average.

Reynaldo Ramos of the Fortuna Grizzlies just toyed with the Arlington Sounders today, blanking them 10-0. He was almost untouchable, baffling them on a 2-hit shutout with 11 strikeouts and 1 walk.
"I'm sweating now because it's hot in here," Ramos said in the clubhouse after the game. "But it didn't even feel like I was sweating out there."
One of his teammates said it was easy to play behind him today. "It was like he's just playing with the hitters and doing whatever he wanted to do."
This year in 14 starts, Ramos has recorded 6 wins and absorbed 4 losses. He has pitched 82.2 innings, allowed 82 hits, struck out 54 and has a 4.35 ERA.

 | Thursday, June 10th, 2010: Chavárez Ups Hit Streak to 25 Consecutive Games
Today Júlio Chavárez went 2-for-4 in the McConnellville Turtle-Monkeys 5-1 victory over the Arlington Sounders. This extended his hitting streak to 25 games. Chavárez declined to comment for the media immediately after the game.
J. Chavárez flied out in the 1st, grounded out in the 4th, hit a two-run single in the 5th and singled in the 8th.
Looking at his season stats, Chavárez has compiled a .299 batting average and a .313 on-base percentage, while hitting 2 home runs and driving in 26 runs.
