 | Friday, December 11th, 2009: Legionnaires, Keys Make Deal The Legionnaires and the Keys finalized a deal this afternoon. South Lester has traded for 33-year old starting pitcher Iván García and in return Fortuna will receive 33-year old left fielder Axel Speed and 22-year old starting pitcher Domingo Mendoza. Checking out his career figures, Speed has played in 156 games with a .248 batting average. Among his 149 hits are 19 home runs. He also has scored 91 runs, stolen 9 bases and driven in 100 runs. In his lifetime numbers García has a 12-6 won-lost record with a 4.56 ERA. |
