"I've been good sometimes and bad sometimes," he said. This time he looked good and made the Greenville Industrialists look bad, blanking them by the score of 6-0. Smith tossed a 3-hit shutout against them, totaling 7 strikeouts and giving up no walks. Thus far this season Smith has posted a 20-6 record, started 28 games, struck out 174 batters in 198.1 innings and compiled a 2.59 ERA. |
