 | Monday, June 1st, 2009: Player of the Week: Cain of the Labor So far in his young career, Lane Cain has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the Simtropolis League in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 25-year-old New City Labor first baseman hit at a torrid .406 clip as he collected 13 hits in 32 at-bats, 6 home runs, 16 RBIs and 13 runs scored. This season Cain is batting .361 with 73 hits, 24 home runs, 63 RBIs, .480 OBP and has scored 54 runs. |
