 | Star-Studded Bombers-Bishops Trade Tuesday, January 31st, 2012: The Cedar Bluffs Bombers made a big splash on the sports pages today, agreeing to a major trade with the Clarvant Bishops. The Bombers will receive 27-year-old reliever Gabriel Rodríguez in the deal, while the Bishops will get 32-year-old right fielder Manuel Delgado, 21-year-old right fielder Esteban Guzmán and $1,680,000 in cash in return.
A check of his lifetime stats shows Delgado has a career .317 average with 181 hits, 58 doubles, 7 triples, 21 home runs and 91 RBIs. To date he has scored 97 runs, walked 50 times and stolen 2 bases.
