| Breaking News |  | Sunday, December 27th, 2009: Carolina-Ampton County Trade Confirmed
The Gold Sox and Wolves pulled the trigger on a deal that will see 27-year old third baseman Sixto Roa head to Ampton County in exchange for 31-year old starting pitcher John Gray. A source close to Carolina officials said "The teams spent long hours coming to the agreement and in the end, both agreed the deal should help both clubs."
In his career-to-date, the 31-year-old Gray has fashioned a 12-11 mark, 4.42 ERA and thrown 218 innings. Opposing clubs are batting .255 lifetime against him and he has logged 127 total strikeouts.

 | Saturday, December 26th, 2009: Tegville Sends Cyr to Ampton County
The general manager of the Tegville Falcons has signed off on a trade for Ampton County's 18-year old third baseman Ming-an Zhai and 23-year old third baseman Dennis Edwards. To complete the deal, the Falcons will send 22-year old reliever Gérard Cyr to the Wolves.
In his career Edwards is batting .204 with a total of 1 home run.

The Carolina Gold Sox have parted ways with 25-year old first baseman Shaun Fear in a trade with the Channai Wildcats for 27-year old reliever Ian Barlini. The Gold Sox general manager confirmed the deal in an announcement this morning.
Lifetime Fear has hit for a .295 average and totaled 119 hits, 11 home runs and 42 RBIs.
Barlini has put up these career stats: 12 wins, 3 losses, 64 appearances, 3 saves, 139.1 IP, 74 strikeouts, .243 OBA and a 3.75 ERA.
